I just came across this site and hope that my message can still be posted.
My heart is torn by the plight of the children of Rwanda. As a mother of
two it breaks my heart to imagine children living in these conditions and
struggling day-to-day just to even have food, clean water, and clothing.

I must admit I am ashamed and outraged that the U.S. Government did not
aid you as they did Kosovo. Politics can be an ugly thing and so can racisim..

My parents already sponsor a child through World Vision and I do volunteer
work in a shelter reading to children to contribute to our children here.

I would like to know how I can help the children of Rwanda? I'll do my part
by sponsoring a child myself but it doesn't seem like enough. I also would
like to know what percentage of the contributions goes directly to help the
children purchase food, supplies, etc.?

As with any cause I believe in, I offer my services in anyway that can be
helpful. Know that you are not alone and that you are loved. God Bless
you and keep you. You are in my thoughts and prayers always.
