Pamela Kerr coordinates and promotes an initiative for the protection of children within World Vision’s programs. She develops training materials and conducts programs for World Vision’s leadership, country directors and staff around the world.

Collaborating with national offices, government and non-governmental organizations on issues related to child abuse and exploitation, children’s rights and organizational response, Kerr maintains a constant flow of information and research to benefit the organization and inform its policies in these areas.

Prior to her current position, Kerr served as an international programs officer monitoring and evaluating child survival and HIV/AIDS prevention and control projects in Asia. She also has served in various human resources management functions as an international recruitment specialist, overseas personnel coordinator and an employment manager.

Kerr earned her diploma of nursing at Hutt Hospital School of Nursing in New Zealand and a master’s degree in public health at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.
