Copyright 2004 World Vision Inc. |  | Philip Hunt is vice president of the Middle East and Eastern Europe region for World Vision International in Vienna,Austria.This region’s issues span from the grave needs of war-displaced Kosovars to abandoned children in Romania and to the unemployed and uneducated people of the West Bank.
Hunt came to World Vision in 1976 as a communications officer following a ten-year career as a radio broadcaster in Queensland, Australia. He has served World Vision as marketing director for Australia, chief executive of Hong Kong and Australia and as chair or member of the boards of World Vision in Hong Kong, Singapore, Lebanon and Romania.
Hunt has a bachelor’s degree in English literature and journalism from the University of Queensland and a master’s degree in business administration from Deakin University.
