Copyright 2004 World Vision Inc. |  | Charles Clayton has served as executive director of World Vision United Kingdom since 1989. Under his leadership, the organisation has become one of the major non-governmental organisations in the United Kingdom and reached US$37 million in annual fund-raising.
Clayton has published a book on hermeneutics called Let the Reader Understand (Victor Press, 1994) and is currently writing a series of papers on leadership.
Clayton holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in theology. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, the Institute of Management, the American Management Association, the Management Centre of Europe, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
