World Vision Tong-shi service centerWorld Vision is delivering relief assistance to the people of Taiwan following the devastating 7.6 earthquake that rocked the country Tuesday.
The U.S. office of the international Christian aid organization has issued an appeal to help provide emergency shelter, medical supplies and other relief supplies. For more information, click here or call 1-888-511-6593 toll-free.

“The people of Taiwan are suffering through the aftermath of one of the largest earthquakes in recent memory,” said World Vision President Richard Stearns. “People throughout the world will be responding, praying and coming to their aid.”

Taiwan previously had been a recipient of World Vision development assistance, however, over the past several years, the office there has primarily served in a fundraising capacity.
“This is the first time that we have needed support and solidarity,” said World Vision Taiwan Director Tim Shao. “We can really do with it now.”
