As the world commemorates World AIDS Day on Dec. 1, consider this:
- More than 15 million children younger than 17 are orphans because of AIDS.
- In the two decades since the AIDS pandemic began, more than 30 million have died worldwide, and nearly 38 million are living with HIV/AIDS.
World Vision is on the frontlines in the fight against this scourge thanks to the support of donors. The organization is also encouraging churches and individuals to take action for World AIDS Day. Don’t miss this opportunity to do something about one of the world’s most critical issues.
