On a weekly basis, our staff in Vlore and Elbasian are distributing food packages to refugees living with host families. In addition, we are providing hygiene kits, baby kits and bunkbeds. We have also begun rehabilitating a former fish canning factory that will be able to house 1,500 refugees.
World Vision's immediate goal is to raise $6 million to provide critical relief assistance to refugee families in Montenegro and Albania. This goal also includes world vision's preparation for the possible return of significant number of refugees to Kosovo.
