| Colombia: Negotiations Fail, Unprotected Villagers Face Brunt of Retaliation
Colombian President Andres Pastrana has called an end to peace talks with the country’s largest rebel group, The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), and ordered his army to take back territory he ceded to the rebels in negotiations three years ago.
