    Two Years Later, Gujarat Is Still Rebuilding

    Nearly two years after an earthquake created rubble out of 300,000 homes in the southwestern Indian State of Gujarat, fewer than half have been rebuilt.     Cyclone Zoe Floods Two Remote Islands

    Hundreds of people on the remote islands of Tikopia and Anuta are homeless and face hunger after Cyclone Zoe, packing winds of up to 225 miles per hour, slammed into the Solomon Islands on December 29. Waves reached more than 200 yards inland, their salt water destroying the staple crops of cassava, taro and sweet potatoes.
