It’s been almost a year since Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast. In New Orleans, the anniversary will be marked with a range of memorial events – from concerts to laying wreaths. For the last year, Eve Troeh has been reporting on the aftermath of the hurricane from her home in New Orleans. She says she’s come across many compelling stories of the struggle to rebuild. Eve brings us one of them in this Reporter’s Notebook.
