| Refugees need clean water, food, medicine, and schools. But several refugee camps in northern Uganda also have computer laptops. A U.S. charity provides the solar-power computers to give refugees contact with the outside world. They not only help students learn about the world around them, they also give their parents practical information on how to rebuild their lives once they leave the refugee camp.
