| Imagine if you collected everything your family ate in a week. And then you put all of that on a table and had to explain why you eat what you do. Photographer Peter Menzel and writer Faith D’Aluisio asked 30 families from two dozen countries to do just that. Then Peter and Faith collected the families’ stories, their food and their cultures and wrote a book – with lots of pictures – called “Hungry Planet.” While they were putting the book together, they tasted foods you usually don’t find on an American dinner table. |
