| Each year, 11-thousand farms disappear in this country. The 23rd annual Farm Aid concert will be held Sept. 20th in Mansfield, Massachusetts in hopes of raising millions of dollars to save the country’s family farms. Farm Rescue is another non-profit organization engaged in saving small farms -- particularly when disaster strikes. When a farmer suffers a major injury or illness, it can kill a farm. Farm Rescue steps in to help. Peggy Wehmeyer talks with founder Bill Gross and a farmer saved by Farm Rescue. |
