| An honor killing is a murder to protect or restore a family’s good name. An Israeli woman has seen eight women in her family murdered -- primarily by their own brothers -- for some perceived wrong. The death of the woman’s 18-year old daughter was the last straw. She turned in her own son as the killer. The case is unusual because honor killings are difficult to prosecute, say police, because relatives refuse to cooperate. Irris Makler reports from Ramle, Israel. |
