| Few places suffered greater devastation in the 2004 tsunami than the remote Indonesian town of Calang, in the northern province of Aceh. More than 90% of its people were killed in the giant wave. The entire town was flattened. But one teacher from Calang has set out to change its future. For the first time in the town’s history, five students are going to college. Prue Clarke reports. |
