| It’s a costly cold sweeping across New England this year. As the mercury went down, oil prices went up and some residents find it hard to stay warm in their own homes. Patty Wight reports from Rumford, Maine on how low-income residents there find it hard to ask for help, then discover even federally-funded assistance programs can’t cover the increased cost of heating oil. |
