The Idan Raichel Project is a musical group from Israel that incorporates the sounds of Israel's minority communities, including that of Jews from Ethiopia. More than 70,000 Ethiopian Jews escaped harsh conditions in Ethiopia in the 1980s and early 1990s and now live in Israel, but many have had a difficult time fully integrating into Israeli society.
