| Maggy Barankitse is a Tutsi from Burundi who's helped thousands of Tutsi and Hutu children orphaned by that country’s civil war. Twelve years ago, she was a witness to mass killings during that war. Because Barankitse is Tutsi, her life was spared - and she managed to save 25 children. She's founder of Shalom House, which cares for orphans and refugees. Sonya Varma reports from Burundi. |
