| World Tricot made clothing for some of the biggest designers in the fashion business. It did so with immigrant and refugee women who were paid a living wage. But World Tricot is suing what was once its biggest customer, Chanel, for allegedly stealing one of its knitwear designs. As a consequence, the company lost all its customers and now struggles to survive as the case works its way through the courts. Anita Elash reports from Lure, France. |
