| HIV/AIDS was first reported in Thailand in 1984. By the end of the 1990s about a million Thai had become infected with the HIV virus. One community in Thailand has taken a lead role in caring for AIDS patients. They’re Buddhist monks. The World Vision Report’s Cynthia Graber reports from northern Thailand. |
