| For 30-years, about a hundred of the men who dangle from ropes to wash windows on the skyscrapers in Chicago all come from a small town in the mountains of north central Mexico. Reporter Sandy Hausman talks with several of the window washers who come from the town of Garcia de la Cadena. Despite the risks of working hundreds of feet off the ground amid Chicago’s notorious winds, the washers say the pay is good and they’re able to help support family back in Mexico. |
