Robert Mugabe, president of Zimbabwe, recently threw himself a birthday party that cost a quarter of a million dollars. This lavish celebration took place despite the face that many of his citizens are starving, and a cholera epidemic continues to spread in the country. When we heard about the recent birthday bash, we wanted to know how regular people in Zimbabwe were reacting to news.
