| Romania has just entered the European Union. Its membership comes with conditions. The Romanian government must clean up widespread corruption. That includes putting an end to the institutionalization of its children in state-run orphanages. The government claims it has done so. But, as Peggy Wehmeyer reports, Romania is keeping thousands of abandoned babies in its maternity hospitals. |
