Sarah Chayes went to Afghanistan in 2001 to cover the US invasion for NPR. She was so moved by the Afghan people that she quit journalism. Today, Sarah Chayes lives in Kandahar, and is affecting peaceful change amidst chaos in her new home. She shares her unusual story with us on how locally-made beauty products are making a difference in Kandahar.
