Kenya held presidential elections last December … but theirs ended with an explosion of political and ethnic violence. In one such instance, a mob torched a church holding hundreds of people taking refuge. Fifty people died. Four children were among the survivors. The children suffered severe burns and have spent the last nine months in a hospital.
Though the violence in Kenya has died down, the scars remain. Donald Giesen has this report. |
