President Barack Obama reached a milestone recently: his first one hundred days in office. Commentators have been grading the President's performance, but many are waiting to see whether he will live up to some of the promises he made during his campaign.
Jim Wallis, founder of a Christian social justice organization called Sojourners, has been evaluating the President's efforts with regards to the poor. He sits on the President's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
Wallis recently spearheaded a rally in Washington calling on politicians to pay more attention to the poor during this economic downturn.
We last spoke to Jim Wallis just after the presidential inauguration. |
