Liberia’s New President -- One Year Later

It’s been one-year since Harvard-educated Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf became the first woman ever elected president of an African country. The problems she faces in rebuilding Liberia are monumental. Fourteen years of civil war left 200,000 people dead and a million more displaced. Johnson-Sirleaf restored electricity in the capitol of Monrovia, improved medical care, and re-opened schools, but jobs are still scarce. Reporter Prue Clarke offers an update on Liberia – one-year into recovery.
