| The Anacostia section of Washington DC is one of the country's poorest and most violent communities. The Anacostia river that runs through the neighborhood is one of the most polluted. Now, poor young men and women from Anacostia have a chance to clean up their community, and their lives thanks to the Earth Conservation Corps. Founder Bob Nixon, spoke with us as part of our series: "The Power of One." |
