Thousands of children around the world are kidnapped each year and forced into becoming soldiers for rebel armies in vulnerable countries around the world.

The widespread problem of child soldiers in developing countries has become so serious that the US Labor Department is teaming up with humanitarian organizations to combat this brutal practice. We spoke to Joe Mettimano, Child Protection Policy Advisor for World Vision, to find out more about this growing problem and some of the solutions that are working.
