Peace is slowly returning to Kenya after a flawed presidential election in December sparked deadly intertribal violence. Amid the burned out shops and homes in Nairobi’s largest slum are white, hand-painted signs promoting peace and brotherhood. Residents of the slum say the signs have had a calming effect on them. The signs are the work of an artist who simply tags his work with “Solo 7.” Reporter Richard Lough went to meet him.
