A Battle for Food and Space

Humans and wildlife in parts of India are finding themselves contending for food and space. Leopards that live in the forests near Bombay are findng themselves homeless, as the city continues to expand. And in eastern India, farmers as well as their rice paddies are at risk to being crushed by encroaching elephants. Indians are desperately seeking a solution that will work for both people and animals. Journalist, David Baron tells us how they are coping.
