Child sex tourism is a booming industry in some countries.
Ending the Trade of Innocence
Listen to the:
One of the dirtiest secrets behind the rise of international tourism is the sexual exploitation of poor children in third world countries.
But now, a new law enacted by the U.S. is pulling back the curtain on this seamy underground network.

Any travelers heading to countries that are hot spots for child prostitution--Cambodia, Thailand, Costa Rica-- will now see warnings on airplanes and at airports that if they’re going to exploit children, they could end up in prison when they return home.

The new campaign to stop child sex tourism was launched by a partnership with the U.S. State Department and World Vision. Joe Mettimano joins us to exlpain.
