| Morphine is cheap and plentiful in much of the world. But few patients in the developing world have access to the pain-killing drug. In Sierra Leone, many people suffer a needlessly painful death because the country’s supply of morphine has been diverted or tied up in bureaucratic bottlenecks. Grant Fuller reports. |
