
Two young boys stand outside of the Nsambya Home Based Care center in Kampala, Uganda. Through this site, about 500 people are receiving ARV medications provided through the AIDS Relief consortium, a group of 5 international non-governmental organizations. 150 of those recipients are children.

| A four-year old boy and his grandmother have come to a clinic in South Africa to hear what no one wants to hear. The youngster’s test results are in – he’s HIV positive. It’s the same disease that killed his parents, and left his 85-year old grandmother to raise a young child again… a child now infected with a HIV.
