| Our GIK Distribution Centers in Pittsburgh, PA and Denver, CO, handle the receiving, processing and shipments of these products World Vision distributes these products overseas through its international offices in over 90 countries. |
Gifts-In-Kind Core Purpose: To create and enhance ministry by obtaining, processing and distributing high quality donated product that links corporations, volunteers, the Church and community with the poor worldwide.
Gifts-in-kind (GIK) are a company’s first quality, excess inventory donated to assist those in need. Commonly needed GIK items include: pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, clothing, shoes, personal care items and school supplies. These items are a priceless resource to the ministry of World Vision.
