In the United States, basic school supplies such as pencils, pens and notebooks may not seem difficult to acquire. Every fall, millions of American children start school with these supplies in hand, but the same cannot be said for millions of children around the world. Many cannot attend school simply because they do not have the necessary supplies to do so, a luxury we at times innocently take for granted.
To help answer the call of global education, World Vision has developed the SchoolTools program. This program provides valuable school materials to children around the world, so all children, regardless of where they live, can receive what should come without limitations—a valuable education.

One of the best parts about the SchoolTools program is you! The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 tells us to go and teach all nations. You can fulfill this commission without having to travel across the world. Getting involved is easy. You and your church’s Vacation Bible School, Youth Group, Sunday School or entire congregation can assemble SchoolTools Kits. Not only will you be blessed from this experience, but also many children will be blessed with the school supplies they need.
