The 30 Hour Famine is an international movement that allows young people to make a significant impact on the problem of world hunger. By pledging to go without food for 30 hours, participants not only raise money to help alleviate suffering but also gain a limited understanding of how it feels to experience hunger. It is our hope that this experience, combined with a greater awareness of the suffering taking place in many parts of the world, will inspire young people to compassion and a greater desire to make a difference in the lives of others. | | Local Events!
