Youth Opportunities
30 Hour Famine is an international movement to fight hunger and enable long-term changes in impoverished communities around the world. 30 Hour Famine engages junior high, high school, and college students in a nationwide educational and experiential hunger event. Participants spend 30 hours abstaining from food while they learn about the causes of poverty and participate in community service. Funds raised are used to assist children and families in need both domestically and internationally. Approximately 15,000 U.S. churches participate annually in the Famine. Family Opportunities
Love Loaf is a tangbile way for families to lear about ministering to the poor. This four-week educational and giving program includes Sunday school lessons, bulletin inserts and other materials that teach children and families about missions and how they can be part of God's work. Up to half the funds raised can be used for a church's mission projects, and the remaining portion in World Vision's international ministry projects.
