Children and families in African villages like Mwakankomba need your help. Through World Vision you can donate additional funds that will go directly to support the Mwakankomba village and others like it in Zambia. Help Zambians through One Life Revolution
Mobilize your friends and community to help Zambians affected by HIV/AIDS by raising money for practical, useful items available through One Life Revolution’s unique gift catalog. The gifts offered in the catalog include a schoolhouse, animals, healthcare provisions, and more. The Kapululwe region, where Mwakankomba village is located, is served by One Life Revolution’s catalog, so the catalog items can be offered to this village as well as other communities in the region.

Blanket - $15
Even in Zambia, nights can be cold. Wrap a child in a soft, cozy blanket for warmth and security
Medicine for a Child - $30
In HIV/AIDS communities children are susceptible to diseases such as tuberculosis, malaria and meningitis. Provide medicines that can cure or even prevent these illnesses.
Care for a Child - $50
Orphans and many vulnerable children have nobody to look after them. Send an adult to care for them. Your gift provides food, shelter, education and most of all, hope.
Sponsor a HopeChild
By sponsoring a HopeChild for just $30 a month, you can help turn the tide on the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Your HopeChild sponsorship will provide a boy or girl affected by this crisis with things like food and health care as well as the opportunity to stay in school and receive counseling. We teach the children about AIDS prevention, encouraging them to practice chastity before and fidelity after marriage. Through this sponsorship, you can remind children living in countries severely affected by the HIV/AIDS crisis that they are not forgotten.
Join a Prayer Chain
Sign up for World Vision’s Hope Prayer Chain and join other Christians in a committed prayer movement to help bring healing and hope to millions impacted by HIV/AIDS. As a Hope Prayer Partner, you will receive periodic e-mail updates with prayer requests and praise reports. You will also receive opportunities to partner with World Vision’s ministry to care for the most vulnerable victims of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. |
