In your neighborhood, basic school supplies such as pencils, pens and notebooks may not seem difficult to acquire. Every fall, millions of children start school with these supplies in hand, but the same cannot be said for millions of other children in the United States and around the world. Many cannot attend school simply because they do not have the necessary supplies to do so, a luxury we at times innocently take for granted.
To help answer the call of educating our children, World Vision has developed the SchoolTools program. This program provides valuable school materials to children in the United States and around the world, so all children, regardless of where they live, can receive what should come without limitations — a valuable education.
Getting involved is easy. You and your church's Youth Group, Sunday School, small group, schools and companies can assemble the SchoolTools. Not only will you be blessed from this experience, but many children will be blessed with the school supplies they need.
