World Vision’s programs in
the United States

Our vision is to give every child the chance to thrive and experience life in all its fullness. Through partnerships in 10 major urban and rural communities across the United States, we address local needs through three main programs: The Storehouse, Tools for Transformation, and Vision Youth.

Providing essentials:
The Storehouse

The Storehouse of World Vision works in key cities across the nation to meet needs for essential personal, home, and school supplies. These warehouses receive corporate donations of new, top-quality goods and make them available to local churches and organizations for distribution to those in need. Local leaders identify the critical basics that children and families in their communities need—such as warm clothing, safe shelter, and school supplies.

Equipping leaders:
Tools for Transformation

Local leaders focus on mobilizing the right people with the right skills to transform their neighborhoods into safe, nurturing places for children and families. Tools for Transformation trains leaders, organizations, and volunteers together to develop their communities. Children, youth, and families benefit from maximized efforts and resources.

Growing futures:
Vision Youth

To grow and sustain long-term improvements in U.S. communities, World Vision invests in the next generations. Vision Youth partners with local churches and community organizations to address the academic, social, and spiritual needs of at-risk children and youth. Powerful one-on-one mentoring and tutoring help them realize their full potential.
