Transforming lives and communities in
Transforming Lives and Communities in Southwestern Georgia
metropolitan D.C.

Nearly one of every three children in the Washington, D.C., area is living in poverty. The gap grows between those in the area with privileged plenty and those in great need. When children live in hopelessness, the well-being of their entire community is at stake.

Neighbors helping neighbors

People in both urban and rural clusters around D.C. are suffocating under the stress of daily needs and lack of hope. World Vision comes alongside faithful church and community partners in the D.C. metropolitan area already hard at work trying to lift their neighbors out of poverty.
