World Vision Domestic Programs -- Vision Youth

We have a different vision for the future of Seattle and Tacoma youth!

The problems of today's inner cities are so complex that it seems staggering to hope that any one effort will make a lasting difference in the lives of our inner-city youth. Fortunately, there is something we all can do now!

Vision Youth, a new initiative in the Seattle and Tacoma areas, is engaged in creating a better future for teens by directing them toward positive role models and constructive goals.

Over the next two years, Vision Youth will provide adult mentors, academic advocates, and grants for higher education to more than 3,750 teens, ages 14 to 17, who live the most distressed Seattle and Tacoma neighborhoods.

I've seen how the Vision Youth program has helped troubled teens pull their lives together. Your support will help bring inner-city youth one step closer toward attaining higher education goals and community leadership.

Together, we can make a big difference.

Through Vision Youth, area teens can become the next generation of leaders instead of tragic statistics. Please join us in reclaiming the future for our youth. Not only can you impact teen violence, you can help hurting neighborhoods from the inside out. Click here for more information and to learn how you can get involved.

Vision Youth is a collaborative effort of Vision Northwest, a partnership between World Vision (the largest privately funded International Christian relief and development organization in the country) and Northwest Leadership Foundation (a community-based networking organization in Washington state).
