WHY<\/strong><\/div>\n

The West Virginia Association of Free Clinics together care for 60,350 working poor of  West Virginia. Those who qualify for services are those who are between the ages of 19-64, and are uninsured by federal, state or private providers and cannot pay for themselves.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Health Access, Inc.<\/a> in Clarksburg is a member of the Association and sees thousands of community residents who would otherwise have little to no access to health care. Health clinics in these communities struggle to keep the doors open to serve a population where 80% of patients are classified as ‘working poor’ making too much income to qualify for Medicare\/Medicaid programs and not enough income to cover basic necessities, let alone health care costs.<\/div>\n

A donation of updated durable medical equipment and solutions provide these clinics with the ability to service more patients in a more efficient environment. Basic clinic equipment is often woefully outdated and in disrepair.<\/div>\n
