Millions of families are experiencing prolonged power outages, damaged housing, and limited access to basic services. These challenges are especially dangerous during the winter months.<\/p>\n
Children are particularly vulnerable. With temperatures forecast to drop below 14°F and prolonged power outages in many areas, children are increasingly exposed to cold, insecurity, and interrupted schooling.
