Girls School Turkey

Turkey used to have the worst record in Europe when it came to the percentage of girls enrolled in school. So a few years ago, the Turkish government teamed up with the World Bank and UNICEF to pay poor families $30 month to to send their daughters in school. As Dorian Jones reports, the program is paying off. Two years ago, 40% fewer girls attended school than boys. Now that gender gap is just 10% in Turkey.
