The Resilient Pastor Video Series, produced by Barna Group in partnership with World Vision, brings together renowned thought leaders and seasoned pastors who share their insights, experiences, and practical wisdom to help pastors and church leaders navigate the challenges they face and build resilience in their calling.

Hosted by Krish Kandiah, the Resilient Pastor Video Series features exclusive interviews with Carey Nieuwhof and Daniel Mevengi along with special presentations by Rich Villodas, Glenn Packiam, and Sharon Hodde Miller.

He earned a Doctorate in Theology and Ministry from Durham University, and is a Senior Fellow at Barna Group, a Visiting Fellow at St. John’s College at Durham University, and an ordained priest with the Anglican Church of North America.

 

Sharon Hodde Miller | Author, co-pastor at Bright City Church, and teacher of faith, culture, and the Bible. Sharon writes, travels around the country speaking at churches and conferences each year, and holds a PhD on women and calling. Through writing and speaking, she talks about issues like being captivated by self, “nice” Christianity, control, and ministry in the modern age.

 

Rich Villodas | Rich is the Brooklyn-born lead pastor of New Life Fellowship, a large multiracial church with more than seventy-five countries represented in Elmhurst, Queens. Rich holds a Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary. He enjoys reading widely, preaching and writing on contemplative spirituality, justice-related matters, and the art of preaching.

 

Daniel Muvengi | Daniel is a Regional Director of World Vision International and holds a PhD in International Development. His role involves integrating faith into all the development work and external partnerships with churches, faith actors, and other key stakeholders to support the wellbeing of children and their families.

 

Carey Nieuwhof | A best-selling leadership author, speaker, podcaster, former attorney, and church planter. Carey speaks to leaders around the world about leadership, change, and personal growth. His podcast, The Carey Nieuwhof Leadership Podcast, has 18 million downloads and features interviews with many of today’s top leaders.
