Disaster Response
Millions of earthquake and cyclone survivors are suffering. The needs of children and families remain critical.
With your help, World Vision plans to reach approximately 700,000 survivors affected by the disasters in Asia, providing them with immediate assistance, including shelter, food, water, and medical supplies. To address the long-term needs of children and families, communities will also receive materials to rebuild schools, clinics, and homes.
The need for your support has never been greater.
- China: Approximately 65,000 people have been confirmed dead, with 23,150 still missing, and more than 360,000 injured. Five million are now homeless.
- Myanmar: An estimated 78,000 people have been left dead with another 56,000 missing. Nearly 2.5 million more are severely affected.
Please respond today with your generous gift and pray for those who have lost loved ones and are struggling to restore their lives.
Survivors need your support today to rebuild their lives tomorrow.
In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.
