World Vision and DreamJobbing Partner to Create a Dream Job as a Humanitarian Storyteller in Africa

Seattle, WA (December 23, 2014) — Christian humanitarian organization World Vision will partner with DreamJobbing, an opportunity platform for some of the coolest jobs on the planet, to offer humanitarian storytellers the opportunity of a lifetime.

DreamJobbing has offered a wide variety of DreamJobs to date, such as Social Buzz Reporter for VH1, Producer at CBS, Tour Reporter for Nitro Circus, Wildlife Volunteer in Thailand, Culinary Explorer in Hawaii with King’s Hawaiian, Backup Singer for Michael Bolton, and Full-Time Writer for Lance Bass’ SiriusXM radio show. World Vision will offer communicators and storytellers the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles and Kenya with the international humanitarian organization and tell the story of World Vision’s work to solve the puzzle of poverty.

“This isn’t a dream job for people who are attached to their comfort zones, but for storytellers and adventurers with a humanitarian heart, it doesn’t get any better than this!’ says World Vision’s John Huddle, who organized the partnership with DreamJobbing. “Whether you shoot and edit videos, write compelling stories or create breathtaking photo essays, this story will break your heart and inspire your soul all at the same time.  We’re so excited to see who wins this amazing opportunity!”

“I couldn’t be more excited to be working with World Vision again in offering up this amazing DreamJob to be their Humanitarian, “ said DreamJobbing Co-Founder Alex Boylan. “Growing up as a Preacher’s Kid in New England, I saw at an early age the transformational work World Vision provides around the globe.  I have been very blessed in my career, from winning The Amazing Race, to hosting travel shows around the world.  And to this day one of my fondest memories was documenting the work World Vision does in the series Missions in Action.  I couldn’t be happier knowing that someone out there is now going to be able to experience this as well.”

The deadline for 60-second video applications is February 5 and can be submitted at http://www.DreamJobbing.com/WorldVision.
