The Bible Tour 2014

Nashville, TN (November 22, 2013) — Word Entertainment and World Vision are partnering with producer and actress Roma Downey (“Touched by an Angel,” “The Bible”) and producer Mark Burnett (“The Voice,” “Survivor,” “The Apprentice,” “Shark Tank,” “The Bible”) for “The Bible Tour.” The two-hour live event will bring the epic miniseries “The Bible” and the upcoming 20th Century Fox feature film “Son of God” to life in sight and sound with immersive video and stunning visual effects paired with music by award-winning musical artists Francesca Battistelli, Sidewalk Prophets, Natalie Grant, Chris August, Meredith Andrews and Jason Gray. “The Bible Tour” is slated to commence on March 20, 2014, at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA, and runs 16 dates through April 13.

“We have been working with Word and Rod Riley [President & CEO, Word Entertainment] since the beginning of ‘The Bible’ series and were fortunate that they released an ‘Inspired By’ album,” said Burnett. “We came to Nashville and got to know the artists and felt the images with the music worked so well together. When the idea of a tour came about, which would take the incredible visuals and film footage and allow them to be on screens with incredible live Christian music, we immediately realized the vision and signed on. We knew it would be an incredible experience for people.” “What we are wishing to gather here is a great emotional experience for people,” added Downey. “We hope that people will come out with their friends and family and really absorb themselves in this combination of stunning images and music and have an entire few hours to feel like they immersed themselves in a pool of love.”
